The Dakini Threads clothing and accessories line was created, conceived and designed by Adele Tomlin, a writer, scholar-translator and Buddhist practitioner of Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism for twenty years, and founder of the first female founded (and sole authored) Buddhist research, translations website in the English-speaking world, Dakini Translations.  Who expanded her actitivites to include songs, music, talks, podcasts, art and more.

In particular, Adele has long been an advocate for animal rights, welfare, veganism, and the environmental issues relating to mass killing and eating of animals and their produce.
